Each year, the Old Stoic Society sources a collection of summer work placement opportunities exclusively for Stoics and Old Stoics, kindly provided by members of the Stowe Community. These placements take place during the summer months and we encourage Old Stoics to take advantage of these opportunities to advance their work experience portfolio.

These placements are aimed at those under the age of 23 looking to explore different industries to support their career development. These placements are only available to those in the Stowe Community.

The Application Deadline for Summer 2026 has now passed.
Placements are advertised to Old Stoics in the lent term, with interviews taking place during the Easter Holidays. Placements take place in June, July & August.
> Candidates may apply for up to three placements per year. Please complete a separate form for each application.
> If you are offered a placement, you are expected to commit to taking it up.
> Candidates will be required to correspond professionally with host companies, including confirming arrangements and responding to communications.
